To Star Scott,

As pastor of Calvary Temple in Sterling, VA, and nearing the end of your life, I notice you have been talking of your past much more frequently these days. It seems your thoughts have turned to the legacy you will leave behind.

A recent tragic event took place that catapulted your legacy to the forefront of my thinking. The blog Dear Calvary Temple received a comment from a Calvary Temple member’s step father telling of the tragic loss of his wife. It is also recounted on this blog. Their story made me realize you might be wondering how you will be remembered in years to come.

Every family and individual listed below has been part of your life's work. Many have experienced the destruction of their family as a direct result of your teachings, divorces at your encouragement, loss of relationships with friends or family members, or spiritual abuse. In addition, there are some who have experienced sexual, emotional and physical abuse.

As you have said before, there are THOUSANDS who have either fled your church, or been ordered to leave. All have been shunned by those still remaining in Calvary Temple. You have instructed your congregation to cut off relationship with those who have left….because “they are already dead.”

(How did it affect you when you learned that the woman you had pronounced “already dead” took her own life just weeks later? How did Patrick, her own son, feel? What does he tell his children that have lost their beloved grandmother? Does he wonder if his mother might still be alive if she had not had a death sentence pronounced over her?)

In addition to those have left or been put out of your church, your legacy will be remembered by every member of your congregation that still remains. They will remember the family and friends they have cut off at your  command. Yes, you have a legacy and it will continue on past your time on this earth.

It may have become difficult to remember so many that have been part of your history, so let me help you out.

The following is a partial list of those who have left Calvary Temple through the years and would certainly like to talk with you of how you have affected their lives, your legacy. Though some might not want to talk to you directly, rest assured most talk with one another frequently. And they talk to their neighbors and co-workers, their family and friends.

Again, this is a partial list. There are many, many others. Multiple friends, family members, and extended family not mentioned here that have spent years suffering the consequences of your teachings.

There are many who continue to pray for you to humble yourself and repent. It's not too late.  But time is short and you should not hesitate.

Lev. 20:9 If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother, his bloodguiltiness is upon him.

Matthew 15:4. For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’

Proverbs 20:20 - Whoever curses his father or his mother,
His lamp will be put out in deep darkness.

Deu 27:16 Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

1 Tim 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Prov 23:22 But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

  1. Please add these names to the list; Doug L. and Debbie L. (deceased) grandparents of Nina and Sophia. We left CT in 1995 but still have family members remaining. The struggle is real.

  3. Very well written and sad at the same time. My wife Norma took her life not long after Patrick told her she couldn't come down and visit.
My brother in-law Peter told me he talked to Patrick after Patrick sent him a family picture for Christmas. Pete was offended by that so called "gift", he told me that he called Patrick and told Pat that he was dead to him and why would you (Pat) send a picture of your family when you are dead to me. Pats response was the typical bobblehead Calvary response " it is not a good time to talk right now but I will get back to you" which of course he never did nor did he ever intended to do so... That is called a lie.
Sadly It's always been about Pat and his family, it's all self centered, it's all about us here at Calvary everyone else are second class Christians, we at Calvary are the elite. so sad and so deceived by the high priest religion.

My son Andrew who has been pretty angry at this demonization of true believers showed me a text that he sent to Patrick a little over a week ago which was very nasty in my opinion, (Andrew lost his mom last year his own wife through divorce, and now his step mom this year, so yeah he is angry and it has effected his walk with Christ), Pats response was again a typical bobblehead Calvary response "I don't answer to you, don't text me again and you are blocked from calling me now". Obviously that can't respond no other way because the high priest and the Levites probably would not approve.

Just who do these bobbleheads answer to, it certainly is not the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ so I am guessing it is the Sanhedrin at Calvary.

If the people there were like the noble Bereans they would have excited that place a long time ago but unfortunately the need to belong to something outweighs the desire to serve our Lord according to his word.

There will come a day of reckoning, maybe not here in this life but most certainly on the day of judgement when all the hidden things of darkness will come to the light. I do pray that these "leaders" will repent before that day.

God bless you all, continue to live for and serve our Lord Jesus seeking those things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God, setting your mind on things above and that because you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God, and when Christ who is our life shall appear, you will appear with him in glory.
Don't be discouraged if Calvary put you out, you are not second class Christians, don't even entertain that Calvary mind control nonsense, simply stay faithful to the Lord.

Two more can be added to your list namely Andre and Alex.

  4. As other commenters on this post have pointed out, this isn't just about the people who have left CT, this is about everyone this cult affects: family and friends; mothers and fathers; brothers and sisters; grandparents; cousins, aunts and uncles; neighbors and communities.

Calvary Temple is a stain and a blot, but more importantly - Bob Scott and his followers defile the Word of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ.

I will continue speak out - AND - I will continue to pray for all of Bob Scott's victims, including the people who are still blinded by his twisted doctrine and putrid application. He is authoritarian at best, and an anti-Christ at worst.
